Call for Applications: BAICE Membership Secretary

The Executive Committee of BAICE is looking for a Membership Secretary. This individual will replace Paul Lynch from March 2012. The appointment is initially for two years and can be extended for a further two years by mutual agreement.
Role description
Main tasks include:
- Maintaining membership records of the Association
- Managing the BAICE online membership system, working with the web team to streamline the online membership process
- Recruiting new members
- Liaising with the Treasurer over membership subscriptions
- Liaising with Compare journal publishers over members’ journal subscriptions
- Managing and updating BAICE marketing materials in consultation with the BAICE Executive Committee
- Contributing as a full member of the BAICE Executive Committee to discussion and activities, and attending committee meetings every three months
Additional tasks include:
- Taking an active role in the marketing of BAICE membership at the annual BAICE conference
- Other promotional activities as agreed with the BAICE Executive Committee
