University of Sussex Vacancies – Lecturer in International Education and Development

The University of Sussex is looking to recruit a new Lecturer in International Education and Development to join the Department of Education within the School of Education and Social Work (ESW). The candidate will join the vibrant and influential Centre for International Education (CIE) – http://www.sussex.ac.uk/cie/ contributing to teaching and research.

The Education Department is engaged in a range of courses in international education at undergraduate level, a highly successful and expanding Masters in International Education and Development and there are regular opportunities for doctoral supervision in the field of International Education and Development. The successful candidate will be expected to make a contribution across this portfolio. Expertise in the field of curriculum and learning in the Global South would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will need to show a clear research agenda evidenced by publications and working papers aiming for publication in internationally rated journals. They would be expected to contribute and complement our existing research expertise in CIE.

The successful candidate will be a research active academic who enjoys working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary, environment with a commitment to excellent teaching and impactful research.
