Tingting Yuan

Tingting is an Assistant Professor in Education and Teacher Development in the School of Education, University of Nottingham. She has a PhD in Comparative Education (University of Bristol, UK), MA in Comparative Education and BA in Education Management (Beijing Normal University, China). Tingting’s research explores globalisation, international aid of education, China-Africa cooperation, international higher education policies and other educational issues within the complexities of global political economy. She has led a couple of BA and MA courses in international education in the UK higher education institutions. Currently she is interested in examining Sustainable Development Goals and alternative theories and practice in higher education and teacher training in developing contexts. Tingting is a former ordinary member and Student Fieldwork Grant manager of the BAICE executive committee.
