Vacancy at St Mary’s University for Director of CREMCYA

CREMCYA logoSt Mary’s University is looking for an outstanding individual to lead the next stage of development of its Centre for Research into Education of Marginalised Children and Young Adults (CREMCYA), founded in 2018. St Mary’s University is open to the new Director role being shared by two individuals with complementary experience and skills.

The new Director(s) will be able to lead research projects and professional development programmes as well as provide some teaching and supervision for established programmes, such as MA Education, International Development and Social Justice, and PhD / EdD students working in the field. There is also the opportunity to develop new courses as appropriate for the sector.

The Director(s) will also be expected to build national and international networks in the field of research into education for marginalised children and young adults, publish at the highest levels and obtain funding for research that takes place within the centre. They will also contribute actively to the growing research profile in Education at St Mary’s University.
